About Dr. Eddie

Eddie is an 11 year-old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. Found wandering around an alley in Schaumburg, it was quickly learned that he was born with several significant health conditions. Eddie embodies resilience and is as tenacious as they come. After being rescued by One Tail at a Time, and a brief cameo on local news media in Chicago, Eddie adopted Sage Stone Clinician, Jenn Ross, over 10 years ago and he's been touching hearts ever since. Though he is not officially a therapy dog, his presence brings comfort and ease to every environment he inhabits. Eddie became part of our team in 2023, after working in a group of skilled nursing facilities for over 5 years, providing gentle puppy snores and big stretches from his cushioned bunk in our Lincoln Avenue office.
