We’d Like to Introduce Ourselves

Meet Isabella

Are you interested in better understanding who you are, whether that be in regard to your sexuality, gender, neurodivergence, or other identities you hold? Are you trying to process traumas from your past, navigate chronic pain/illness, or better recognize relationship patterns?

Sometimes social, political, and capitalistic barriers make it feel as if a better life or world is unattainable. Therapy is a place for you to find your voice, power, and ways to cope. Together we can help you discover safety in vulnerability, let go of things that no longer serve you, connect with your emotions and identity, and regulate your body's response to triggers. I specialize in working with those seeking to process and navigate neurodivergence/ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, family conflict, and chronic pain/illness. My passion lies particularly in exploring how these focus areas intersect with queer, trans/gnc, and asexual identities. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University as well as a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in English from Loyola University Chicago.

Everyone grows at their own pace and I'm eager to give you the patience, empathy, and encouragement you deserve! As a queer, transmasc, ace-spectrum, and neurodivergent person (who deals with chronic pain) I understand ways society marginalizes people - though I recognize our experiences may be very different. Therapy is inherently political, and I'm dedicated to social justice both inside and outside the therapy space. I strive to ensure my clients’ identities are seen and valued in their entirety by integrating strength-based, feminist, queer, multicultural, anti-capitalist, and anti-Zionist lenses. I also draw from person-centered, relational/attachment, somatic, and existential approaches to connect with your mind, body, and personhood in sessions.
